“SUMMER DOCS SHOWCASE” OF VIDEOS BY NJCU STUDENTS AND ALUMNI TO PREMIERE AT HOBOKEN HISTORICAL MUSEUM ON THURSDAY; ARTISTS TO BE PRESENT

"Summer Docs Showcase" is an evening of video works by NJ City University students curated by Professor Jane Steuerwald for URBAN IMAGE, based at the University. It will premiere at the Hoboken Historical Museum with a reception in the Museum walkway on Thursday evening, 8:00PM, August 2nd, 2012, 1301 Hudson Street, Hoboken, NJ. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

Free parking is available at the Littleman Parking-Independence Garage, located at 12th Street and Shipyard Lane, which offers three hours of free parking for Museum visitors with validated tickets.

Back by popular demand, the URBAN IMAGE showcase returns to Hoboken with an engaging program of documentaries by Felix Rodriguez (class of 2012), Makisha Rodriguez (class of 2013), Nandy Santos (class of 2012), and Marco Vidal (class of 2012). The films tell stories of exceptional people - some who struggle with homelessness, some who make art, and one who lives out his dreams in unusual ways. A reception in the Museum’s open-air walkway adds that special touch to an evening of accomplished films as we celebrate another summer of the arts.
